English Premier League side Everton look set to complete a swoop for Ghana winger Christian Atsu from Chelsea, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm. 

The Toffees have reached final stages of the negotiations with their London rivals and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has agreed to allow the 22-year-old leave the Stamford Bridge another season on loan.

Everton have established a solid rapport with Chelsea following the signing of Belgian hit-man Romelu Lukaku and manager Roberto Martinez is confident of sealing a move for the youngster who showed flashes of brilliance for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup.

Martinez is seeking to blood in the former FC Porto whizkid who could replace Gerard Deulofeu as an impact substitute at Goodison Park, following a fresh productive season in Holland with Vitesse Arnhem where he won the Fans Player of the Season Award.

Tyneside club Sunderland were linked with a move for the player on Thursday but manager Gus Poyet moved quickly to dispel the reports.
