English Premier League side Everton look set to complete a swoop for Ghana winger Christian Atsu from Chelsea, can confirm.

The Toffees have reached final stages of the negotiations with their London rivals and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has agreed to allow the 22-year-old leave the Stamford Bridge another season on loan.

Everton have established a solid rapport with Chelsea following the signing of Belgian hit-man Romelu Lukaku and manager Roberto Martinez is confident of sealing a move for the youngster who showed flashes of brilliance for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup.

Martinez is seeking to blood in the former FC Porto whizkid who could replace Gerard Deulofeu as an impact substitute at Goodison Park, following a fresh productive season in Holland with Vitesse Arnhem where he won the Fans Player of the Season Award.

Tyneside club Sunderland were linked with a move for the player on Thursday but manager Gus Poyet moved quickly to dispel the reports.

There is nothing confusing about what you are referring to.Gerard Deulofeu was used mostly as a substitute and impacted Everton's game. Deulofeu has departed back to his parent club as you rightly pointed out. From the statement,Atsu is coming in to replace Deulofeu whose loan expired after the end of the last season. That is my understanding of it and i believe there is no confusion in that.

Asisi that is GSN for you. They just paste any story without checking.Today Atsu here,Tommorrow Atsu there. If its true ,then Atsu will explode because Robeto is one of the finest coaches for player development. He will bring the best in Atsu.

What do you mean by saying "replacing Gerard Deulofeu as an impact substitute"? It's confusing because Gerard Deulofeu is no more an Everton player. He has departed to his parent club Barcelona. That means Atsu would not be used as a substitute for Delofeu in an Everton shirt because the latter would not be playing for Everton the coming season for him to be substituted by the former.

For how long will Atsu continue to be on loan in his career?.
