Ghana winger Christian Atsu insists he needs to work hard to earn regular playing time at AFC Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old joined the newly promoted Premier League side in his third successive loan spell from Chelsea.

Atsu had a torrid time last season where he struggled for first team action at Everton.

Many however believe his move to Bournemouth will be better as he will automatically get the regular first team action he so needs to sharpen his immense potential.

But the former Fc Porto man is adamant he will need to work hard to get regular games at the Cherries.

“I don’t expected to [automatically] play regularly at Bournemouth,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I have to work hard to earn regular playing time.”

Atsu joined Chelsea in the summer of 2013 but is yet to make his first team debut for the Blues.

His move to Bournemouth will be his third successive temporal switch since moving to the Premier League.
