Exclusive: Ghana youth winger Abeiku Quansah signs for Egyptian side El Gouna

Former Ghana youth international Abeiku Quansah has signed a two-year contract with Egyptian Premier League side El Gouna, can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old has been available on a free transfer since terminating his contract with Ukrainian Premier League side Arsenal Kyiv in October last year due to unpaid salaries.

Quansah rejected advances from Ghana Premier League to move to the North Africa country.

He played for French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice between 2008-2011 before moving to Eastern Europe.

El Gouna are ninth on the 11-team table in Group A of the Egyptian Premier League.

The right-winger was a member of the Ghana team which won the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Egypt 2009.
