Red Star Belgrade defender Abraham Akwesi Frimpong is on his way to Hungarian giants Ferencváros after both clubs agreed a 300,000 transfer fee.

The Serbian champions will take home a huge amount of profit on his sale - having acquired the services of the Ghanaian for just €100,000 two seasons ago from fellow Serbian side Napredak Kruševac.

The hard tackling guardsman will be leaving club after failing to command a starting berth during their last season's league title triumph - featuring 16 times and scoring one goal.

The 25-year old-was at the club with compatriot Richmond Boakye Yiadom, who left for Jiangsu Siunning in China.
