Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah has joined Finnish top flight club HJK Helsinki on a three-year deal, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 22-year-old signed the deal on Monday for an undisclosed fee after passing a medical and agreeing to personal terms.
Baah joins Klubi having excelled in his debut season in Finland where he helped FC Honka finish second to his new club in the domestic top flight.
Baah’s career has been on the up since returning from a career-threatening injury while in Ghana with Asante Kotoko.
The left back will now be playing in next season’s UEFA Champions League with HJK Helsinki.
