Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has completed his move to Swedish giants Malmo, Ghana's leading football news website GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old moves from Belgian side  Belgian club Brugge and signed a three-and-a-half year deal.

Kofi joins the Blues after excelling while on loan in Norway at Stabaek last season which prompted Malmo to swoop for his signature from his parent club Brugge.

"It feels good to come to Malmö, this is very good. I have heard very good things about Malmo FF and it's a club with great history," the Ghanaian said after signing the deal on Tuesday, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

"Also, I've heard a lot about the fans and I understand that they are very good so I'm looking forward to playing here and are prepared to work hard."

The Swedish giants were also delighted with the capture of the former Ghana youth international insisting his leadership qualities will shows as he did at Stabaek where he was named the deputy captain.

"Enoch Kofi Adu is a player that we are very pleased to having signed the contract with us,"

"He is adept defensively at the center of midfield and also a good playmaker.

"He has an international style of play that we will greatly benefit from in future. Moreover, he is a great leader of people who quickly become assistant captain in Stabaek. "

Adu Kofi struggled for regular first team action during his one year stay at Brugge having arrived from an excellent stint with Nordsjaelland.

He played in the prestigious UEFA Champions League competition during his time with the Danish champions but fizzles out following his move to Belgium.

His impressive showing while on loan at Stabaek has yielded positive results as it has secured him a move to Malmo who are currently on track towards retaining their top flight crown in Sweden.
