Ghana defender Bright Addae has expressed worry over Ascoli’s slump in form in the Italian Serie B.

Ascoli after gaining promotion into the Italian second-tier are yet to find their rhythm in the ongoing campaign as they have lost 4 games in a bounce.

Addae, 22, made the comment after his side’s 3-0 mauling by Vicenza on Saturday as they currently sit 20th on the league table.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Addae said “Our current position on the league table is not encouraging because we have lost four games in a bounce. It is affecting the team negatively.”

“… but we are looking into the future because those games are past and gone so we are aiming to win the other matches ahead of us so that we can move away from the current position we are now.”

The 22 year old guardsman added: “Nothing is bigger than God, what we have to do is to be more determined if not we can’t lift the team from its current position and we the players must dialogue to find solution to the club’s slump in form.
