Giants Hearts of Oak will name Professor Mintah as coach and will be assisted by Yussif Abubakar while Sabahn Quaye returns as Director of Operations in a massive shake-up meant to return the Phobians to the top of Ghana football, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Joe Addo, the club's former centre-back who served the Phobians with excellence, will return as the club's team manager in a crack technical squad named by owner Togbe Afede to revive the struggling giants.

Black Stars team manager Sabban Quaye is making a return to join the capital club after quitting his role as team manager four seasons ago to join city-rivals Liberty Professionals.

But he has been courted back to the Accra club to take charge of the day-to-day activities as they seek to fight the other top team in the transfer season for the top talents in the country.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com investigations, Hearts of Oak officials have reached an agreement with Professor Mintah who quit his job as Ebusua Dwarfs head coach in the course of last season, and will play the role of technical director.

Mintah, who is credited for reviving the then struggling Dawrfs, will be in charge of the technical directorate of the club with another task of reviving the youth side Auroras.

The former African champions successfully lured Yussif Abubakar from job at Kpando Heart of Lions as he returns to Hearts as head coach.

Former Hearts of Oak and Ghana international defender Joe Addo will also join the club's backroom staff as they look set to make a return to Africa next season.

Hearts parted ways with club legend Mohammed Polo who was head coach after taking the reins after David Duncan was sacked at the start of last season.

Hearts will begin pre-season on Tuesday.

However it is unclear when the coaches will join them.
