Accra Hearts of Oak are set to sack Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi following the club’s recent poor run in the league, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Grapevine sources close to the Oak Family disclosed to GHANAsoccernet.com that the recent performance of the team has necessitated the decision to expel the buoyant trainer.

The source added that despite the coach picking 13 points in their last ten matches and 2 in their last three matches, Kenichi has refused to meet the management and explain to them the team's plummeting form.

The decision to sack him has been communicated to the board and has been unanimously approved.

Kenichi will therefore be relieved of his duty in the coming days.
