Berekum Chelsea attacker Kofi Owusu has been linked with a surprise move to CAF Champions League winner's TP Mazembe.

The Berekum Chelsea attacker copped 19 goals in the just ended First Capital Plus Premier League, a return that has seen him win the best player in the league season.

His performance with Chelsea has not gone unnoticed with Congolese giants TP Mazembe monitoring his situation with a view of snapping him up.

“Kofi Owusu had offers from Egypt and Sudan and we were considering the Sudan offer,” Director of Berekum Chelsea Nana Oduro Sarfo said

“But late last week, an offer arrived from TP Mezembe and I can confirm that within the next few days, he will be leaving for Mezembe,”

The Ravens have five Ghanaians already on their books with two of the them being Berekum Chelsea players [Kissi Boateng and Solomon Asante].
