This means the versatile Ghana international will stay at the Turin-based side until June 2018.

According to sources, the new deal will make him one of the big earners at the club.

Asamoah, who joined from Serie A side Udinese two seasons ago, has been impressive for the Bianconeri.

The 25-year-old has been a key performer for the past two seasons and was influential in their league title triumph.
