Celebrated marketing mogul and Member of Parliament-elect of Awutu Senya West George Andah has been penciled as Ghana's new sports minister, top sources have told GHANAsoccernet.com headquarters.

The hugely-respected former Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Ghana and Glo Ghana's Chief Operating Officer, will replace out-going minister Nii Lante Vanderpjuye barring any last minute changes.

GHANAsoccernet.com top sources indicate Ghana President -elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has settled on the celebrated marketing magnate as the man to steer sports in his in-coming administration.

Former deputy sports minister Osei Bonsu Amoah and Ranking member of sports Isaac Asiamah have been hugely tipped for the position.

But it appears the in-coming President has other ideas with GHANAsoccernet.com editor Patrick Akoto reporting George Andah features prominently on the list.

Andah is a Ghanaian management consultant and MP-elect for Awutu Senya West after flooring Foreign Affairs minister Hanna Serwah Tetteh in the Parliamentary race last week.

He attended Achimota School and proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he studied for a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry. George also holds a MBA degree in Marketing from the University of Ghana.

George was voted the CIMG Marketing man of the year in 2010.

The newly elect Parliamentarian is a founding member of Occupy Ghana- a political pressure group.

George is married with four adorable kids and lives in Accra with his family.
