EXCLUSIVE: Medeama agree to loan out midfielder Helegbe to Lebanese side Tripoli SC
Medeama have agreed to loan out midfielder Michael Helegbe to Lebanese side Tripoli Sporting Club.

Medeama have agreed to loan out midfielder Michael Helegbe to Lebanese side Tripoli Sporting Club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Tarkwa-based side threatened to take legal action against the player after he travelled to the Middle East without their permission.

But GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm that the two clubs have reached a loan agreement for the player following pleas from the ex-Kotoko midfielder.

The 28-year-old will spend the next year on loan at the club and revert to the Ghanaian side after the expiration of the deal.

If he impresses during the season-long loan, the Mauve and Yellows hold the option to sell him permanently to the club or any other side that shows interest.

“We have loaned Michael Helegbe to Lebanese side Tripoli Sporting Club,” club president Moses Armah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“He will revert to Medeama after the expiration of the loan deal.”

The 28-year-old  joined the side on a two-year deal in a free transfer from Asante Kotoko last season.
