Medeama are planning to appoint Maxwell Konadu as their new Technical Director, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The move according to the country’s leading football portal, forms part of of the restructuring that the club are going through after a disappointing campaign last season.

The Mauve and Yellows failed to reach the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup in their debut season and escaped relegation on the final day of the championship.

Club president Moses Armah wants to engaged the services of the former Kotoko tactician to provide technical direction for the club.

Newly-appointed coach Prince Owusu will work under the Black Stars assistant coach if accepts the job offer.

Konadu won the Ghana Premier League title with Kotoko  and qualified the Under-20 team to the 2013 African Youth Championship in Algeria in 2013.

He will combine his new role at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park with that of the national team.
