GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report that Libyan champions Al Ahli Tripoli have snapped up Medeama SC winger Kwame Boahene.

Ghana’s leading football website, www.ghanasoccernet.com, can confirm that the former Ghana U20 player has penned a three-year deal.

The 20-year-old had been in Egypt to undergo trial with Petrojet but was captured by the Libyan outfit who are building a squad for next year’s CAF Champions League.

Boahene could be loaned out to another club, more likely to be an Egyptian club, to keep active due to the suspension of the Libyan Premier League as a result of the politically-induced violence in the North African country.
