Polish side Legia Warsaw have refused to sign Ghanaian midfielder Muniru Sulley after a two-week trial session, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 24-year-old was available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Romanian side FC Steaua Bucuresti last season.

The former Liberty Professionals youth team player is said to have failed to impress officials of the side.

"After two weeks of thorough testing and analysis, we decided to end the relationship with Sulley Muniru,'' Legia Warsaw Technical Director  Ivan Kepcija told GHANASoccernet.com

''He is a player who has shown a lot of qualities, but his profile does not match the current philosophy and expectations of our team.''

Muniru is the younger brother of  former AC Milan and Inter star Sulley Muntari.
