Just hours after Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah announced his final 23-man squad for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil, the entire squad is heading to the United States to begin serious works.Â

Defender Jerry Akaminko who suffered a heartbreaking ankle injury and is ruled out of the tournament is travelling with the team to the United States to see an ankle specialist.

Ghana's Group G opponents Portugal and Germany have already arrived in the USA and intensified their training as he both seek a good tournament.
