Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has been ruld out of his country’s international friendly against Canada next week due to injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Mohammed, 25, picked up a knoc during Kuban Krasnodar ‘s 1-1 stalemate against Anzhi over the weekend.

The Ghana international will undergo treatment this week, which effectively rules him out of the friendly against the Pilgrims in Washington on October 13.

His absence however, will pave way for players on the fringes to stake a claim in Avram Grant's team.

Mohammed becomes the latest high-profile player to pull out of the game following the withdrawal of Asamoah Gyan and Christian Atsu.
