Newly-promoted Italian Serie A side Frosinone have set their sights on signing Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie from Genoa, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm. 

The 24-year-old has returned to Genoa after ending his loan spell with Chievo Verona who showed no interest in retaining him.

Frosinone who finished the Italian Serie A as table-toppers are eager to bring in quality and experience into their squad for the upcoming Serie A campaign and have settled on the Ghana.

They are convinced Genoa would be willing to allow the midfielder leave on either loan or permanent basis.

GHANAsoccernet.com's sources have also revealed Bologna are also interested in signing the midfielder who is capped once by Ghana.
