Ghanaian youngster Joseph Mensah has been released by Czech top-flight side Slavia Prague after ending a six-month loan deal, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 19-year-old talented midfielder made only one appearance for the Red and Whites in the Czech Liga during his stay.

There are reports he failed to impress head coach Alex Pastoor during his stay and decided against exercising their option of signing him on for three years.

Mensah will return to his Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals to try and relaunch his career.

Before leaving for the Czech Republic, he had undergone trial at German Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth.
