EXCLUSIVE: Stuttgart midfielder Sarpei set to join Dutch side Venlo on loan
Hans Nunoo Sarpei

Germany-based midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei is on the verge of joining Dutch top-flight side Venlo on loan from German club VfB Stuttgart, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 18-year-old has been excluded from the squad of the Bundesliga season for their pre-season training to pave the way for his move.

He has already travelled to Holland to join Venlo on their pre-season training before a decision is made to sign him on a season-long loan deal.

Sarpei, who is the nephew of former Ghana professional Hans Adu Sarpei, joined Stuttgart last season from Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals.

His quest to command a starting place in the Stuttgart team last season was derailed by a torn meniscus which ruled him out of action for nearly four months.

Sarpei is now chasing the possibility of playing more matches by his move to Holland to enable him return and grab a place in the Stuttgart squad.

Venlo will take a decision on Sarpei joining the club if he impresses in the training camp.
