EXCLUSIVE: Suspended Medeama winger Anoobah training with Egyptian side Petrojet

Suspended Medeama winger Theophilus Anoobah held his first training session with Egyptian side Petrojet on Tuesday night, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 23-year-old sneaked out of the country on Monday and trained with the North African side without his club’s consent.

The Asante Kotoko target is serving an indefinite suspension after he refused to turn up for Medeama’s pre-season training.

GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that the CHAN star will defy the orders of his club to sign a long-term contract with the Suez-based side.

The Mauve and Yellows have confirmed they will take legal action him for breach of his contract.

Anoobah is angling for a move away from Tarkwa despite being contracted to the club till 2016 with Kotoko his preferred destination.

He played a bit-part role for the Tarkwa-based side in their debut campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup this year.
