EXCLUSIVE: Trialist Dominic Adiyiah rejects 'poor' Kalmar FF contract

Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah is unlikely to sign for Swedish top-flight side Kalmar FF after rejecting their contract terms, MTNFootball.com can exclusively report.

Adiyiah trained with the club last week and played in two pre-season friendlies where he impressed head caach Hasse Eklund.

But the 24-year-old was not satisfied with terms proposed by the Allsvenskan side who were seeking to bolster their attacking department.

"We await with him right now," Kalmar FF Sporting Director Thomas Andersson Borstam said.

A source close to the former AC Milan player told MTNFootball.com: “We will wait till the end of the day to see if they improve their terms.”

The Scandinavian transfer window shuts on 31 March and Adiyiah can look elsewhere if Kalmar fail to meet his financial demands.

Adiyiah is available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Ukrainian side Arsenal Kyiv after the club went bankrupt last year.
