Turkish side Bucaspor have been slapped with a two-year transfer ban for failing to pay monies owed Ghanaian midfielder Torric Jebrin, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The embargo means Bucaspor cannot register new players in the next 24 months.

The Ghanaian is owed wages, outstanding transfer money and bonuses totaling $2 million.

Jebrin, a former Hearts of Oak star, terminated his contract with the European outfit last year over the standoff.

He reported the matter to FIFA which ruled Bucaspor erred and are not allowed to bring in new players.

The latest ruling means new players such as Civar, Furkan, Alparslan, Barış and Gökay cannot be registered.

He is currently on the books of Egyptian side Ismaily.
