Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has finally left Russia to complete his move to Scottish giants Celtic, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The results of the 24-year-old’s medical conducted a few days ago came clean with Rubin Kazan also reaching an agreement with Celtic for the loan move to happen.
Wakaso left Moscow on Friday and is expected to be in Scotland later in the evening to meet up with officials of Celtic.
The ex Espanyol man is expected to sign a deal to make his loan move official over the weekend after a work permit request is granted.
He will be handed a squad number and unveiled at Celtic Park over the weekend.
Wakaso will immediately begin training with his new teammates before flying out next week to join the Ghana camp for the opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier early next month against Uganda and Togo.
