Ghana's deputy minister for sports Vincent Oppong Asamoah has caused an uproar as his speech for the FA Cup awards were exposed to have been hurriedly written on envelopes for the invitation cards for Saturday's event.

Asamoah, who was the special guest for the event held at the Banquet Hall of the State House, seems to have been totally unprepared for the event leading to him writing the speech on the envelopes.

Such special events are meant for glamorous well-written speeches but the minister threw all that out of the window and arrived at the event unprepared even with his speech.

While some have attempted to justify his action by claiming he was given a late notice, some claimed his actions are completely praise worthy given that he was able to scribble his speech in a short time under pressure.

However, critics says the deputy minister has been exposed for the incompetence and disregard for such a big occasion which would lead to him arriving at the event with no preparation.

But the exposure of the picture of his speech of social media has exposed him to ridicule.
