Nania FC forward Evans Omani hopes his winning goal which secured the Ghana FA Cup final for his second-tier side will propel his career.

The young attacker came on in the second half and back-heeled a cross inside the Kotoko box to help Abedi Pele's side record a famous victory-as the first non-top flight side to win the competition.

"It was fantastic and especially to score against Kotoko and in that manner is unbelievable for me as a player," Omani said

"This is the biggest game of the young career and I'm happy the manager (Pele) had confidence in me and brought me on and did what I was told to do.

"I am hoping this will be the breakthrough that I have been waiting for in my career and I’m very delighted."
