Former Berekum Chelsea assistant coach Yusif Abubakar is set to take over relegated King Faisal.

The 41-year-old, who parted ways with the Ghanaian League champions last month, is studying the details of the contract offered him by the Kumasi-based side.

"King Faisal have offered me a detail so I'm currently looking at the contract to make a decision," he told Accra-based Peace FM

King Faisal have targeted to return to the top flight at a canter and believe Abubakar has what it takes to earn them qualification.

Abubakar has also coached Gamba All Blacks and Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
