The spiritualist who accused Rashid Sumaila of being behind Jerry Akaminko’s injury which prevented him from participating in the 2014 World Cup has all of a sudden "disappeared".

Mallam Issaka Salia, caused a massive lock down in the media landscape in Ghana when he leveled a wild and unsubstantiated claim against Sumaila.

The spiritualist, who promised to bring an end to the footballer’s career in the space of a week, has since gone into hiding after succeeding in planting uncertainty and doubt between the two players who shared a healthy relationship.

Salia has vanished from his Wenchi-based with the fear of being sued by the Kuwait-based player.

According to highly respected personalities in Ghana football Mallam Issaka is a “gold digger” and has since failed to prove his claims after he was pushed to expatiate on his claims.

Akaminko sustained a serious career threatening injury in Ghana's Pre-world Cup friendly with the Netherlands which ruled him out of the competition and subsequently missed the entire 2014/2015 season.

The former Hearts of Lions defender is currently undergoing a trial in the United states of America as he looks to get his career back on track.
