Family of deceased referee Kwame Kyei Andoh has rejected the autopsy report which claimed he died of ââ¬Ënatural causesââ¬â¢.
The 21-year-old died few days after suffering brutal assault at the hands of irate fans during a third-tier League match between Gold Stars and NaaJoe Unitedà at the Bordie Park.
A post-mortem conducted at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital revealed that the young promising assistant referee died of natural causes.
But brother of the deceased, Kofi Kyei Andoh, says they are not satisfied with the report.
ââ¬ÅWe are not happy with the report at all. They need to give us a comprehensive report as to what actually killed him,â⬠an angry Andoh told Radio XYZ
ââ¬ÅYou can just me he died naturally without given me the cause of the death.
ââ¬ÅMy brother was not ill. We are all waiting for the comprehensive report. He never complained about any sickness. He has been an active person.
ââ¬ÅThat same Friday that he passed away, he went for training in the morning and came back.
ââ¬ÅHe wasnââ¬â¢t sick and never complained to anybody that he was sick. So when you say he died of natural cause, in our view you havenââ¬â¢t said anything.ââ¬
The Ghana FA ordered for an autopsy report before taken any action with officials confirming they willà will take up the funeral expenses of the young referee.
