Fatau Dauda back to Ashantigold training

Published on: 19 February 2013

Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is expected to return to training with Ashantigold on Tuesday after  six weeks absence.

The 27-year-old is now available for the miners ahead of the start of the second round of the league on Sunday after returning from African Cup of Nations duty with Ghana in South Africa.

He made six appearances for Ghana, helping the Black Stars finish a disappointing fourth.

The former Okwahu United glovesman was undoubtedly the revelation of the tournament with smash-buckling performances that got him many admirers.

He will be required to bring his experience to bear on the team as they chase their first Premier League title in 20-years.

The miners will travel to the Golden City Park to face Berekum Chelsea.
