Fatau Dauda plays for Orlando Pirates in a friendly.

Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was a second half substitute for Orlando Pirates who breezed past Costa do Sol of Mozambique in a practice match played on Wednesday.

Pirates coach Roger da Sa made a few changes to the side with goalkeeper Dauda replacing Brighton Mhlongo.

Dauda kept a clean sheet and helped the Bucs to snatch the match winner.

In a counter attack initiated by Mabena, Molangoane ran into space and was set free by Bacela; the petit winger found himself isolated with the goalkeeper and made scoring look easy by firing a low shot into the bottom right corner of the visitor’s goal.

Dauda is pushing to impress the technical team for playing time in the league to boost his chances of playing at the World Cup.

The former AshantiGold gloves man is yet to play in a competitive match since joining the Premier Soccer League side in August last year.
