Ghana goalkeeper Fatau has cautioned his international teammates against complacency ahead of the 2018 World Cup double-header against Comoros.
The Ghanaian travel to Moroni for the first leg on November 13 before hosting the return leg four days later.
The four-time African champions are the daunting favourites to advance to the group phase of the qualifying campaign against a relatively unknown Comoros side.
But former Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has urged his teammates to eschew complacency.
When Lesotho went to Comoros, I thought Comoros will be eliminated but the opposite happened,â⬠he told Accra-based Starr FM
ââ¬ÅThat should tell us how Comoros are. Playing against Ghana is enough motivation for Comoros. Every country can play so we donââ¬â¢t need to underrate then.ââ¬
The Black Stars will begin preparations for the first leg tie in Accra on Monday November 9.
