Ghana goalkeeper Fatau has cautioned his international teammates against complacency ahead of the 2018 World Cup double-header against Comoros.

The Ghanaian travel to Moroni for the first leg on November 13 before hosting the return leg four days later.

The four-time African champions are the daunting favourites to advance to the group phase of the qualifying campaign against a relatively unknown Comoros side.

But former Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has urged his teammates to eschew complacency.

When Lesotho went to Comoros, I thought Comoros will be eliminated but the opposite happened,” he told Accra-based Starr FM

“That should tell us how Comoros are. Playing against Ghana is enough motivation for Comoros. Every country can play so we don’t need to underrate then.”

The Black Stars will begin preparations for the first leg tie in Accra on Monday November 9.
