Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has maintained that he is yet to reach his full potential after his epic performances at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The AsahntiGold shot-stopper has earned rave reviews for his composure between the sticks despite Ghana's abject display to finish fourth.Ã
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move abroad but the new Ghana number one claims he is still on the learning curve.
"I can't judge myself Iââ¬â¢am just a player; you the media men and the technical team of the Black Stars are the people who can rate my performance because you watch us play,'' Dauda said.
"We went to South Africa to bring the trophy but since we couldnââ¬â¢t do what Ghanaians wanted, I can't say I have done well."
Dauda honed his talent at relegated Okwahu United before moving to his current club AshantiGold in 2006.
He was an unused goalkeeper in Ghana's 2008 Nations Cup finals squad which earned bronze on home soil.
