AshGold shot stopper Fatau Dauda says his side will pick up in the second round of the Ghana Premier League despite their poor show in the first round.
The defending champions have been shambolic in their quest to defend their title, lying 12th on the league table after 15 matches.
But the former Orlando Pirates goalie insists his side will pick up in the second round.
“The Second round of the Ghana Premier League is always where the competition is. Teams are seriously fighting to avoid relegation or to win the title.
“It is a difficult round but trust AshGold to pick up in this round to shock many people,” Fatau Dauda assured.
AshGold will begin their quest to better their first round performance at the Red Bull Arena in Sokagope with WAFA.
The Aboakese lads won the battle last season at Sogakope.
