Ghana coach Malik Jabir has handed a late call-up to Ibrahim Moro for Saturday’s CAF U23 Championship first round qualifier against Congo in Accra.
The 21-year-old has released by his Kazakh side FC Kairat for the international assignment although it is not a FIFA free date.
He has joined the Black Meteors camp and played in Wednesday’s friendly against FC Victoria at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Moro was named in Ghana’s preliminary squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations but failed to make the final cut for the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
The former New Edubiase United player will help shore the midfield for the Black Meteors.
