Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan had admitted that he was tormented psychologically after picking up an injury against WAFA in the first game of the season.

Annan was ruled out for almost six weeks after clashing with Charles Boateng in the first game of the season away at Sogakope.

The injury meant he lost his starting slot in the team to Ernest Sowah who has been flawless since taking up the post.

“It was really a difficult time for me because I really worked my socks off in preseason to get the number one spot,” Annan told Accra based Citi-fm

“But Ernest and Ofori Antwi are all good goalkeepers and now that I am back the only thing I can do is continue working hard and ensure that when I get the chance again.”

Annan will be part of the Kotoko side that will be fighting to win the league title in the second half of the season.
