Felix Ansong named new Liberty Professionals president

Felix Ansong has been appointed as the new president for Liberty Professionals Football Club following the demise of Alhaji Sly Tetteh, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.

The Ghana FA Emergency Committee member, a co-owner of the club until the death of the talent spotter last weekend, will now assume full responsibility.

Ex-National Sports Authority Chief Executive Charles Aryee will now act as Executive Chairman.

J.E. Sarpong will remain as the club's head coach for the upcoming season with midfielder Michael Helegbe confirmed as the club's new captain.

World Under-20 winning coach Sellas Tetteh is expected to return to the club after he quit his post on Monday with the Rwanda national.
