FENERBAHCE, Van Persie: \"Moving around a lot suits me well. My kids will be involved in future choices\"

Recently linked to a Premier League return, or even to an Eredivisie one, Dutch 33-year old star striker Robin Van Persie, playing for Fenerbahçe since 2015/16 and still on a deal with Turkish club until June 2018, told Feyenoord TV:

"I've been moving around a lot in recent years, together with my family, and that suits me very well. Over the years I've learnt that you cannot really plan your career. You have to take it as it comes. There are all kinds of things in your path, and you accept it or not.

That's how I will approach the last few years. I'm open to everything. I've been away from the Netherlands for 13 years, and that's fine by me. Whether it's in England, Turkey or wherever.

My future choices involve my kids, of course. They are even more English than Dutch, because they grew up there. There comes a time when they also get a bigger say in where they'd like to live and be".

Former Arsenal and Manchester United hitman has been approached by Stoke City, Crystal Palace and West Ham, as well as by Lazio. Besides, Barcelona FC were reported as making inquiries for him.
