FIFA President Sepp Blatter has sent a congratulatory message to Asante Kotoko for winning the league and MTN FA Cup double last season.

The Porcupine Warriors claimed their 23rd league title by winning the first First Capital Plus Premier League trophy.

It was a historic double after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Inter Allies in the FA Cup final played in Accra.

“Please pass on my warmest congratulations to Asante Kotoko, winning their third title in succession,” Blatter said.

“It pays testimony to the standing of the club. My warmest wishes go to the players, manager, the technical and medical staff and all of the team’s supporters as each part of this organization have no doubt been instrumental in their club’s victory.

“On behalf of the world football community, I would like to thank Asante Kotoko for the excitement they bring to fans of the beautiful game and wish them all the best for the future.”

Yhoh I wonder what the parasite want from Ghana now or support to stay the president of FIFA...they took huge chunks of our world cup money...they only gave 1Billion Euros when we spent millions of Rands building 8 new stadiums refurbishing 2 others, hotels, airports, jet train ways, new huge roads ETC. that man and Issa hayatou should vacate the footballing control. seriously if Dr Danny Jordan can organise a world cup what can fail him in leading the Confederation of African Football, just last week due to his negotiation skills he secured a 30 billion Rand sponsorship for Sout African Football Association.
