Representatives from FIFA have began inspection of the various Goal projects handed the Ghana FA.

FIFA development officer in charge of West Africa, Sampon Kablan led a delegation which also included an official from CAF on Tuesday to first inspect the various offices at the Ghana FA headquarters in Accra – the first FIFA Goal project.

The delegation was met on arrival by Acting General Secretary of the Ghana FA Emmanuel Gyimah.

The team entered every office at the GFA headquarters where they introduced and interacted with the staff.

The inspection team was later joined by Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice Fred Crentsil to hold further discussions.

The team will on Thursday go and inspect facilities at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre for Excellence in Prampram where the FIFA Goal II, III and IV projects are housed.

FIFA through its Goal projects provide funds for member associations in developing countries to improve their infrastructure as part of their efforts to develop the game of football.
