USA youngster Weston McKennie is in for a real Bundesliga baptism of fire as he makes his starting debut for Schalke against none other than Bayern Munich!
The 19-year-old Texas native was promoted to the senior squad at the start of the 2017/18 campaign after impressing in the youth team last season, and has made two substitute appearances already this term, coming on in the closing stages against RB Leipzig on Matchday 1 and against Stuttgart on Matchday 3.
The Royal Blues have begun the new Bundesliga season strongly, winning three of their opening four games to sit in fourth place after Matchday 4.
