Despite recovering from injury, Kwadwo Asamoah has been left out of Ghana's double-decker against Mozambique in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The 27-year old played full throttle for Juventus in their 1-0 win over Sassuolo and has been included in the squad to face Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League.
Ghana coach Avram Grant visited Asamoah in Turin last month after match watching the Juventus-Inter Milan clast and there were discussions about his Black Stars return.
But it looks like the former Chelsea coach wants to give the versatile player some time to fully recover.
Asamoah is yet to feature for the Black Stars under Avram Grant due to constant injuries.
