Seoul: The second session of the first edition of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Football Administration Certificate concluded on Wednesday at the head office of the Korea Football Association House in Seoul, Korea Republic.

Following the first session in Tokyo, Japan, the 18 participants from eight Member Associations (MA) continued with the nine-month programme, which had been designed in partnership with the renowned World Academy of Sports (WAoS) to develop football management skill-sets and provide MAs with the latest management techniques and best administration practices.

The programme specifically catered for future senior management of the AFC’s MAs comprising three quarterly face-to-face seminars and e-learning modules, encompassing approximately 250 hours of study. The modules covered in this session comprised topics on media and communications as well as income generation in football.

The final face-to-face session and graduation ceremony will take place in April 2017, in Malaysia. Certificates will be awarded to participants on the basis of pass, merit and graduation with distinction.
