Former Ghana U20 captain Lawrence Lartey says he will patiently bid his time to regain international recall.

The 21-year-old is fast fizzling out of international action since leading Ghana to a bronze medal at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey but is confident of a return to national folds.

"The general expectation was that I would be part of the CHAN squad but I haven't been but I believe that at the right time, I would be in the squad," he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

Lartey moved to Ghanaian Premier League side AshGold SC from second-tier side Nania FC after the World Cup and has been consistent in the Ghanaian top-flight but the Miners's under-performance has affected his form.
