Former Ghana U-20 star Bright Addae made his 100th appearance for Ascoli over the weekend.

The versatile enforcer marked his milestone appearance for the Italian club after playing in Saturday’s Serie B match against Salernitania.

Addae lasted the entire minutes for Pichio as they drew goalless away from home.

He becomes one of the few players to have reached that feat at the club since joining three seasons ago.

In an interview with TV3 Sports, the midfielder said: “I am very happy for how far God has brought me. It’s been difficult but through hard work I have come through”.

“I cannot believe it is 100 games for my club Ascoli. I am very happy and I promise my club and my fans there is more to come.”

The former Wa All Stars man was signed in a definitive deal on a 2-plus-1 year contract in 2014 from Parma.

He had previously spent time on loan at Terrassa, Crotone, Gorica and Gubbio. He was a member of the Ghana U-20 World Cup winning team of 2009.
