Former Sekondi Hasaacas striker Samuel Afful has dismissed reports that he has signed for newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Karela United.

Afful, who is unattached after rescinding his contract with Tanzanian elite league side Azam FC some few months ago, was reported have put pen on paper for Premier League debutants Karela United.

However, the 22-year-old has quashed the reports by claiming that he is still a free agent and he's looking forward to signing for a club ahead of the coming season.

“I have not received any call from Karela” Samuel Afful told Kwesi Koomson on Aseda FM. He however added that he will respond when Karela United come calling.

Afful played part Sekondi Hasaacas’ unfortunate drop from the topflight league to the Division One League. He was then transferred as a free agent to Azam Football Club and later on ended his stay.
