Former Hearts midfielder Asante scores in Etoile league win

Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Uriah Asante scored for Etoile du Sahel as they hammered Hammam-Lif 3-1 in the Tunisian Ligue 1 on Saturday.

The 21-year-old registered the opening goal for Etoile in the 5th minute at the Stade Olympique de Sousse.

He clinically connected home a low cross from team-mate Maazou who resisted a tough challenge from the Hammam-Lif defence to lay a pass for the Ghana U23 midfielder to connect home.

Asante joined the Sousse-based side from Pure Joy FC after seeing out his contract at Hearts of Oak.
