Former Kotoko chairmen to poll assistance package for accident victims

Former Chairmen and Directors of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Limited, will on Wednesday July 19, hold a crunch meeting in Kumasi to come up with a support package for victims of the July 12 tragic road crash which happened at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.

A press statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and signed by Mr. Paul Adu-Gyamfi, past chairman, convener of the meeting said the venue will be at the National Kotoko Secretariat at Odeneho- Kwadaso in Kumasi.

The accident occurred when the team were on their way back to Kumasi in a team bus after a Premier League match with Inter Allies in Accra.

It claimed the lives of two persons including Mr Thomas Ofosu Berchie, Equipment officer of the Football Club.
